Brittany & Koley got married on a beautiful spring day at Schreiner Mansion in Kerrville, Texas. It was really a long time coming for the two of them, as they grew up together and their parents had been friends for years – what a perfect little love story! I had such a wonderful time working with Brittany in the months leading up to their big day. Not only was this girl organized, but she was just a joy to be around. Just scroll through for some photos from their big day, she was always smiling and made the most radiant bride!
Their ceremony was held outside at the historic Schreiner Mansion in downtown Kerrville. They were able to get ready in an incredible bridal suite that took up an entire floor above the reception venue, Events at Waters St. I have seen a lot of different bridal spaces between past events and venue visits, and this one was by far one of the most well thought-out spaces to suit a bride and her tribe. I also could not get over how gorgeous Britany's dress was! Her Willow by Watters gown from Liv & Love Bridal was EVERYTHING!
The inside of Events at Waters St is so intrinsically beautiful and simplistic in its design, with historic charm and stone wall features. The venue complimented well with the fruitwood farmhouse tables Brittany rented from Marquee, along with the little hint of color that was added in with the napkins and greenery. At every place setting was a favor for their guests; little honey jars to pay homage to Brittany's late grandfather who was a beekeeper. Seriously, so sweet!
During the planning process I learned that Cartewheels Catering is also open just next door during the week – and is a clear favorite for locals in the area and I can see why…their menu items were delicious, and very well presented.
These two did a first look prior to the ceremony, which again I love because all of the fun pre-wedding photos! They took to the streets of the city with their bridal party and made some memories that Leah Thomason captured for them!
Following their first dance and their dances with parents, Brittany asked the DJ to play “We Are Family” so both sides could come together on the dance floor, which I thought was so special! After that, I'm pretty sure the dance floor was always busy!
Congratulations again you two. I hope you’re enjoying married life <3 Thank you again for letting me be a part of your special day!
